Enjoy your stay in this beautifully updated 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo located in the Fairways Village! Somerset is a second floor condo, with modern, coastal themed decor. Upon entering, you will walk up the stairs to find an open floor plan featuring a dining area and a full kitchen equipped with all the essentials for preparing family meals, and a spacious living room with a flat screen T.V, and a cozy fireplace for relaxation. In the master bedroom, there is a queen bed and a large master bathroom. In one guest bedroom there is a queen bed, and in the second guest bedroom there are two twin beds. There is also a bathroom located near both guest bedrooms for convenience. Enjoy your morning coffee from the balcony overlooking the quaint, friendly neighborhood.

Shore Visit

Love this neighborhood of Bay Creek. Unit was in great shape. Very much appreciate the water filter that allowed drinking water to be free of the sulfur taste and smell which can be a problem in Cape Charles area. TV was great, internet reliable. Bed in master was quite hard and board like, so may want to change that. Maybe another lamp or 2 in the living area, especially for reading. Overall a great unit.

Dated unit. Do not use for promotions
2 Remote controls for TV ? Light switch and remote for lights (CONFUSING), well past its life couch and primary bed with flat pillows. Even a CD player in the kitchen !!! Porch door handle sticks, we even got to see hand prints on the sleigh bed, calcium on the shower hardware, and a welcome letter from the last occupancy -the Curley's from thanksgiving

Discovery Weekend

While the condo was nice, we were greeted with the foul smell of sulfur from the water system which continued throughout our stay. We brushed our teeth with bottled water. As we are looking for a 55+ community, the many and steep steps were a definite challenge!
Not sure if property management were the same as the Bay Creek office people we dealth with, but dissapointed that they did not resolve the water issue after being told and also, post visit no response at all to our overall review of the property and amenities. That was the most dissapointing; we felt like if it wasn't a definite sale we weren't worth their time to acknowledge our thanks and concerns.

Stay at Bay Creek

Very pleasant stay. My wife enjoyed the tour with Ashley. She was super friendly and engaged in our being informed and getting to enjoy the property. We enjoyed exploring on the golf cart on property and in Cape Charles. We had a boat ride to explore to Bay and the views. Seeing dolphins and hearing about the region and the origin of the delicious local oysters was a real treat. Kudos to Gary and his relaxing cruising and awesome boat. The home we visited was super inviting and something to be considered. We also got near the phase and tried to envision property we might choose if we purchased a specific
Lot.
Overall, it was an informative, enjoyable trip. Worth the time and effort. We are thinking of purchasing for the future.

Too Many Steps
The condo was fine. It was dated. Maybe too much furniture. I wish there had been an option for a one night stay as opposed to a 2 night stay. We only needed one night. Lots of things closed on a Monday in Cape Charles so that was a bit of a problem.Glad we came down though .

Pros: Beautiful golf resort community located near downtown Cape Charles. Friendly and helpful gate attendant. Large bedrooms with walk-in closets. Spacious, well-stocked kitchen with modern appliances. Large garage.
Pros: Unaccommodating property management staff. Traveled with a two-month infant. Arrived two hours before 4:00 pm check-in and were not allowed access to the unit. Steep stairs to the second floor unit. Bed mattresses were semi-soft. Two family members complained of sore backs.

Had a great time in Bay Creek. The townhouse was well stocked and incredibly comfortable. Had all the extras that I would expect at a high end hotel. I would strongly recommend staying here. Lots of great places to walk and the pool is very nearby.

Pleasantly surprised by this lovely condo. Clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for the family. Lush grounds and beautiful surroundings. My family had a wonderful stay here. I highly recommend this place. Do look into renting a golf cart for local transportation during your time here as it’s the preferred method of transportation in this community.

We had enjoyed our visit in June of 2018 which is why we came back. Each of the three units we rented were clean and had the amenities we expected. They were all comfortable and welcoming. The folks from Bay Creek Rentals, especially Lisa Brasch, had the our trip well planned and the places ready to go. We did not want for anything. Our group of 10 were there to play golf and the staff at the golf course and pro shop could not have been more polite and accomodating.

My experience with the rental company was excellent. They explained two rental properties to me across the street from each other and u rented both. We had eight guys and all were happy with my choices.
